This is information for Shops, Businesses, Hotels, Parks, Holiday venues etc that may wish to be judged against the EMiB criteria.
New for 2026 We are pleased to introduce a new category of Railway Stations and Transport Hubs focusing on the work of displays planted and tended by volunteers.
It is our wish that you should be part of the main bloom competition and be part of the Bloom community, however for many reasons this is not always possible due to there not being a Bloom group in your area or simply you are geographically separate from a Village or Town.
Firstly, why not speak to the local community and form an In Bloom entry, we would love to have you and your wider community involved.
We are pleased to recognise the work you do in improving the environmental look and feel of your establishment and so offer an opportunity for your work to be recognised by EMiB. All entrants will receive a certificate and report, though this is non-competitive and will not be included as part of the main bloom competition. Judging takes place in July each each at a prearranged date and time.
As with all categories there is an entrance fee as shown in the following table
| Public House (e.g. a local community pub) | £25.00 |
| Hotel (e.g. larger venue hosting weddings, events and conferences) | £100.00 |
| Small Retail Business (e.g. Florists, butchers, small local high street shop) | £25.00 |
| Large Retail Business (e.g. Larger Estate grounds, Garden Centre, Factory Grounds) | £100.00 |
Railway Station/Transport Hub (eg displays planted and tended by volunteers) £25.00
